Bondars opened in 1959 in Calgary, Alberta, inspired by the vision of Sam Bondars to bring quality furniture to the local community. Today, Bondars is one of the top home furnishings destinations in Western Canada, representing over sixty years of customers enjoying a range of furniture from traditional classics to contemporary showstoppers. Bondars is a longtime member of the Rowe family of retailers, with a relationship stretching back to 1995. A family-run business, Sam’s son Stewart and granddaughter Jordan own and operate the 33,000 square foot showroom, which offers home furnishings that reflect a variety of lifestyles and backgrounds. The shop includes in-house team designers and experienced staff who take pride in continuing the tradition of providing quality home furnishings with unprecedented customer service and satisfaction.
