Malouf Furniture & Design is a family-owned and operated company that first opened its doors in Greenwood, MS in 1946, and has been a member of the Rowe family of retailers since 2001. Based on the concept of "beautiful furniture at a fair price," the shop now occupies two locations including a 90,000 square foot showroom in Foley, AL. Malouf offers a furniture design center, rug and mattress gallery, art and accessories, as well as Rowe custom furnishings.

What makes your shop unique?

We have a fairly large showroom at just over 60,000 square feet, but walking through it isn’t an overwhelming feeling. We are lucky to have quite an expansive staff walking the floor at all times, so you never get that feeling of being lost in a sea of furniture. We have all of the benefits of an intimate environment without sacrificing storefront space.

How does your shop make customers feel?

We try to create a casual comfort in our store that makes our designers and customers feel at home. We find that this makes the communication and shopping experience more comfortable, and makes it easier for the customer to imagine what it would really be like to live with our pieces rather than just seeing them all displayed in a line. We offer complimentary refreshments and appointments with specific designers, as well as walk-ins. No matter the customer, we can find a process that makes their experience shopping with Malouf an enjoyable one.

Which Rowe pieces can people count on seeing in your store?

XP's will be 18" non-welted pillows. Fabrics NM & RS pattern types will have seams approximately 52" out from the center on seat cushion, back cushion, front skirt, in-back, and outback.
