Fowler Brothers Co. is a historic shop originally founded in 1885 in Chattanooga, TN by James G. Sterchi, who began the business by selling goods door to door out of a horse-drawn buggy. The shop has been a member of the Rowe family of retailers since 2014 and is now operated by members of the Fowler family, including president and CEO Carter Fowler, who has headed the business since it was known as The Furniture Shoppe and The Patio Shop. In 2020, the shop rebranded back to its roots as Fowler Brothers Co. to highlight the company’s rich history of providing quality furniture to the Chattanooga area for over 140 years. The Fowler Brothers’ commitment to always providing exceptional craftsmanship and service has led to strong customer loyalty that has held steadfast for generations.
