We are a family-owned & operated business since 1997! Our history in the furniture business dates back to 1954, when our family opened their first store in the Bronx. Originally known as Mott Haven Furniture (500 square feet), the shop was later known as Kelly’s Furniture, and they began with re-upholstering kitchen chairs and worked their way into manufacturing furniture. They built their business up to having 15 storefronts throughout the NY boroughs. Our floor staff is made up of the most sincere, honest, knowledgeable, and friendly people. We’re all community-minded, dependable and never pushy! We’re here to help, and give you space to shop too. Most of our staff do not come from a sales background (which is preferable, in our opinion). We look for people who enjoy people, home and decorating. They know their stuff and are not afraid to give you an honest opinion.

We have a unique customer experience at Madison Furniture Barn. Customers will find signs throughout the store to ask our team if they need help. We do not want customers to feel like they are being followed around. This gives our customers the space to browse stress-free, and when they need help, our highly experienced team can assist them with picking out the finishing piece to a room or furnishing an entire home.
